Solidarity message from Barcelona’s antifascists

First they came for the migrants, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a migrant.
Then they came for the communists, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.
Then they came for Pavlos, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a friend of his.
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.

NAZISM KILLS!

And not only immigrants.

This morning Greek neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn militants murdered the 34 years old antifascist and hip hop singer Pavlos Fyssas (Killah P) in Athens. He was 34 years old.

A group of approximately 20 Nazis chased and surrounded Pavlos and his comrades. Then a 45 year old man stabbed him first in the heart, then in the abdomen.

The brutal assassination took place in front of DIAS force policemen. The police did not proceed to any arrests, until Pavlos – before lying dead – started showing them the man who stabbed him!

His murderer confessed to be member of the Golden Dawn.

Pavlos’ assassination comes only a few days after the attack of about 50 Golden Dawn militants against a group of 20 members of the Communist Party who were putting up posters in a nearby neighborhood in Athens. They were attacked with bars and beams with nails and nine of them had to be hospitalized.

Attacks against migrants in the last months are uncountable.

Labour Unions, antifascist organizations, and left parties convoke big demos this afternoon in Athens and many other Greek cities.

We support them in their antifascist fight!

Today at 19.00 we will gather at Plaza Catalunya to leave them one thing clear:

That as long as we live ¡NO PASARÁN! neither in Greece nor anywhere else!

LET US CAST OUT THE GOLDEN DAWN NOW!
